About Us
Sherpa Kids is part of the Junior Adventures Group, a collective that delivers exceptional experiences for children in over 1,000 services at school locations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland. Our global experience has allowed us to create an approach to child-led care that parents and schools trust. And that children love!
Our purpose is to create a lasting positive impact by supporting families’ flexibility and resilience, building stronger communities, and nurturing the next generation of confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. We do this by realising each child's potential through a holistic approach that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs, while creating opportunities for exploration, imagination, and decision-making in their world. We’re committed to delivering the value of play through inclusive physical, wellbeing, creative, and play-based programmes, expertly designed for children and delivered by our dedicated teams.
Our History
Established in Ireland in 2014, Sherpa Kids delivers nationwide before-school, after-school, and holiday programmes to local communities, focusing on play, movement, and engagement. With almost 10 years of industry experience and connection to the childcare sector, we have expanded to 90+ locations in Ireland and joined the Junior Adventures Group in 2021. Our heritage and commitment to building positive and fun experiences for kids is at the heart of everything we do. Whether designing unique programming in partnership with industry experts or creating magical moments for kids who attend our morning, afternoon, and holiday programmes, our goal is to make every day exceptional!

With a wide selection of adventure categories that focus on physical education, arts, STEM, and wellbeing, kids in our care enjoy an ever-changing array of activities! A big feature of our programme is inviting children to select the activities that they want to do, helping them to develop confidence and identify their passions.
